who will be your host?
We have worked really hard to EO to put together a great team! Perhaps the only contentious point is coffee! Coffee is a big thing at EO and perhaps the biggest debate is whether you put the milk in first (which you absolutely do by the way!) but what else do you need to know about the friendly faces that greet you for your game at EO?
Rich is one of the owners of EO and the master builder. He is an escape room enthusiast and has played almost 300 rooms.
Rich is a qualified electrician and cabling engineer and has introduced intricate and innovative technology into our game scenarios. Rich has a strong desire that every escape room we create should be controlled by the player’s actions in the room rather than the games master.
Rich is married and has two children, Emily (aka Little E) and Joey who was the inspiration behind EO’s festive character Joey the naughty Christmas Elf.
When Rich is not working he can be found playing football or enjoying a beer with friends but more likely buying a new car!
Kelly is Rich’s sister and the other owner of EO. She is an escape room enthusiast herself and has played well over 300 rooms.
Kelly is the main puzzle creator, scenario and game writer and is control of the day to day running of EO. She is the voice on the other end of the EO phone should you call. You will often find her drinking too much coffee, chatting too much to customers and hosting games.
Kelly is married and has one daughter, Olivia (aka Little O) who is fast becoming an escape room enthusiast herself.
Kelly’s brain doesn’t appear to have an off switch! When Kelly is not working at EO she can be found coffee in hand, busy bringing more weird and wonderful ideas to life so watch this space as you never quite know what’s coming next!
Kodi joined EO in 2022 as a shy and quiet school girl. Fast forward almost three years and she is the life and soul of the weekends.
Kodi was the inspiration behind the “Quote of the Game” feature and is regularly making TikTok’s with best friend Lily. Kodi is a huge hit with customers and even has her very own fan club!
In 2024 we nominated Kodi for a Bury Free Press Business Award in the Employee of the Year category and we were delighted that she made the final three. Just a month later she was also a finalist in the Rising Star category of the Babergh Innovation Awards.
She is professional, kind and dedicated and when she is not at EO you may find her helping out at her parents sweet shop (Dinky Treats – go check them out they make great cakes!).
Lily joined the team in 2023 and is EO’s practical joker, she is forever getting one over on Kelly with her antics but she also extremely gullible when the tables are turned.
Lily is always smiling, always laughing and is an excellent host who is extremely popular with customers. She may look sweet and innocent (which she is most of the time) but Lily has a fierce competitive streak and is never afraid to give anything a go (apart from finishing a cup of coffee, she never gives that a go!)
Lily is highly creative and hardworking and together with Kodi they are the double act that every escape room company needs.
When Lily is not at EO you can probably find her in a quiet corner plotting revenge for Kelly and Kodi’s latest practical joke or teaching herself how to use a staple gun!
Sam joined EO in 2024 and made a big impression straightaway, and not just because he towers over us in height!
Sam is a review machine and is a very good host. He is very popular with the customers and has quickly settled in including himself in TikTok’s and coming up with promotional ideas and content.
Sam is enthusiastic and is always happy to give anything a go. He is hardworking and polite and when he is not at EO you will probably find him falling off his bike somewhere or eating a huge amount of snacks! Sam is very musical and in his spare time plays the drums, but hopefully not in his ridiculous dinosaur slippers!
