CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19) POLICY
At this present time the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to cause global disruption and continues to impact on our normal way of life. We, like many other businesses, are monitoring the recommendations and guidance from both HM Government and the World Health Organisation.
We will be asking ALL visitors to complete a questionnaire on arrival to the venue and to scan our QR code for NHS Test and Trace using the NHS COVID-19 app on your smart phone. A parent or guardian must complete and sign the form on behalf of someone who is under the age of 18.
The welfare and safety of our visitors and our staff is our main priority and we are therefore putting in place the following additional measures at our venue:
Face coverings are mandatory by law in all indoor settings and all visitors will be required to wear one whilst inside our venue. EO Escape Room staff reserve the right to deny entry to anyone who refuses not to adhere to this requirement.
In addition to our usual cleaning regime we are also endeavouring to spray the locks, keys, props and high touch surfaces in our rooms as part of our game resetting procedure. In some areas we may also use a ‘fogging’ machine.
We have opted to stagger booking times and limit the number of games per day. This will assist in controlling the number of visitors at our venue at any one time.
We have made our bookings private and for a maximum of 6 players.
We are requesting that our visitors use the hand sanitiser provided both before and after their game.
Our staff and games masters will be wearing face coverings. They will also be required to complete a daily declaration on arrival to confirm that they are fit and well and are not showing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
We appreciate that by the very nature of playing escape rooms you will be unable to observe the recommended social distancing guidelines during your game, however, where possible please observe the Government’s guidance on social distancing from other people in the building especially in the communal areas.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE CENTRE IF YOU HAVE HAD COVID-19 SYMPTOMS (persistent cough, loss of sense of smell and/or taste, shortness of breath, high temperature) YOURSELF OR HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS HAD SYMPTOMS OR TESTED POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS WITHIN THE LAST 14 DAYS. If you have already booked your game please email email@example.com to reschedule giving as much notice as possible.
NHS TEST & TRACE SCHEME
We have now added QR codes in the communal areas of our venue for our customers to scan on arrival. This is to support the Government and the NHS in their Test and Trace scheme to help stop the spread of Coronavirus.
All visitors will be requested to scan the QR code on arrival using their smartphone.
